London based architecture & interior design studio
The Studio
Archmongers is a London based architecture studio with a Northern European sensibility: creating spatial clarity, elegance and enduring design with bold forms and honest materials.
We specialise in residential retrofit, mid-century houses, tailored commercial spaces, and new-build homes. Projects range in scale, but each one solves its client’s needs by focusing on the context of each space and the people who occupy it.
The studio is material driven, designing with a commitment to material truth and integrity. The durability of concept and materials demonstrates Archmongers’ approach to sustainability and placemaking. These values have underpinned the practice’s work on many of London’s landmark modernist buildings, sensitive sites and listed properties.

What our clients say
'Archmongers' vision has transformed our home. We still marvel at the way in which Johan and Margaret have enhanced the handsome Victorian features of the house with contrasting yet wonderfully sympathetic additions, creating imaginative, beautiful, and practical spaces for our family to enjoy.'

'We’re super collaborative in our approach so working with Archmongers felt like a natural fit from the beginning. From the first brief, including how we could aesthetically connect the design to our other offices, through to the details and consideration of environmental factors, the process was open and easy.'

Bakken & Bæck
‘The energy and creativity that Archmongers brought to this project made the whole journey just so exciting. They transformed the space into a haven that is both sentimental to my past yet inspiring to grow in as a family. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.’
